1. What Information Do We Collect?
Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you submit an RFQ, register on the Services, express interest in our products or Services, or otherwise contact us. This may include names, telephone numbers, email and mailing addresses, ZIP code, Provider billing and payment information, contact preferences, usernames and passwords, vehicle or service details, and consent and transaction records—including the date, time, IP address, decision, and version of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, quote-contact authorization, and optional future-marketing authorization presented when you submit an RFQ. Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive personal information. We do not collect precise geolocation; we collect only your ZIP code. Payment data. For Providers who make purchases, we collect data necessary to process payment. Payment data is stored by Stripe; see Stripe's privacy notice at https://stripe.com/privacy. Information automatically collected. We automatically collect certain information when you visit or use the Services, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, country, Log and Usage Data, Device Data, and information about how and when you use the Services. We use this primarily for security, operation, analytics, and reporting.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process personal information to connect you with service providers and enable them to contact you; share and sell your name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, and RFQ details with up to three (3) Providers so they may contact you with a quote consistent with the consent you provide; facilitate accounts and authentication; deliver the Services; fulfill and manage Provider payments through Stripe; evaluate and improve our Services and identify usage trends; provide security and fraud prevention; comply with applicable law; and enforce our legal terms. Optional future-promotions and marketing consent is not required to receive a quote, and we transmit the recorded yes/no choice to each Provider receiving your Personal Information.
3. When and With Whom Do We Share and Sell Your Personal Information?
Our core service involves selling and sharing your information. When you submit an RFQ, we sell and share your name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, RFQ details, and the scope of your recorded contact consent with up to three (3) Providers so they may contact you with a quote. This disclosure is the service you are requesting. Once we transmit your information to a Provider, that Provider's own privacy practices and terms govern its use of your information, and we are not responsible for a Provider's practices. To request deletion of information already held by a Provider, contact that Provider directly. We may also share personal information with vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us under contracts designed to safeguard information; in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or acquisition; with our parent or affiliates under common control; and where required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or the public.
4. What Is Our Stance on Third-Party Websites?
The Services may link to third-party websites, applications, or advertisements not affiliated with us. We do not guarantee, and are not responsible for, third-party content, privacy, or security practices, including Provider practices after your information is transmitted. Data you provide to third parties is governed by their policies, not this notice.
5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this notice and for applicable legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs. Retention periods vary by record type. Consent and opt-out evidence may be retained as needed to demonstrate and honor the user's choices and comply with law.
6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We use reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information. No electronic transmission or storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our safeguards. Transmission of personal information is at your own risk; access the Services only within a secure environment.
7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to anyone under 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor's use. If we learn that we collected information from a person under 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to delete the data. Contact privacy@tirebob.com if you believe this occurred.
8. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting privacy@tirebob.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Opting out of calls and texts. You may opt out of marketing calls and texts at any time by replying STOP to a text, contacting the relevant Provider, or emailing privacy@tirebob.com. Because an RFQ authorizes Providers to contact you about the requested quote, you may also need to opt out with each Provider directly. Optional future-marketing consent is separate from quote-related contact and is not required to receive a quote. Account information. You may ask to review, change, or terminate your account by contacting privacy@tirebob.com. We may retain information as needed to prevent fraud, comply with law, enforce terms, or honor opt-outs.
9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features and Opt-Out Preference Signals
Most browsers and some operating systems offer Do-Not-Track (DNT) or opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). TireBob does not currently process these browser signals automatically. Where applicable law requires a response, you may submit an opt-out request using the method below while automated signal handling is implemented.
10. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?
The categories TireBob may collect include identifiers such as name, telephone number, online identifiers, IP address, email address, ZIP code, and account name; Provider commercial and financial transaction information; RFQ and vehicle details; and Internet or network-activity data. TireBob does not request protected classifications, biometric information, precise geolocation, recordings, education records, profile inferences, or sensitive personal information through the current Services. When an RFQ is submitted, TireBob sells and shares identifiers and request details—including name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, RFQ details, and the recorded scope of consent—with up to three registered automotive service Providers for the requested quote. TireBob may also disclose information to account registration, authentication, hosting, payment, communications, and analytics service providers as described above. TireBob does not knowingly sell or share information of consumers under 18. Depending on your state, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing, targeted advertising or profiling, and receive nondiscriminatory treatment. California residents may have additional rights, and residents of states that provide an appeal right may appeal a denied request. Arizona does not currently have a comprehensive consumer-data privacy statute of general applicability, but Arizona residents retain rights under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act and other applicable law. To exercise a right or opt out of sale or sharing, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link below or email privacy@tirebob.com. We may verify identity by matching information you provide with our records. You may use an authorized agent, subject to proof of authorization. TireBob's core service requires sharing and selling the contact information in an RFQ to up to three (3) Providers to provide quotes. If you opt out of that sale and sharing, we cannot deliver the requested quotes. Opting out does not affect information already transmitted; contact each Provider directly about information it already holds.
